Zanjeerain reunites the Yakeen Ka Safar pair of writer Farhat Ishtiaq and director Shahzad Kashmiri for the first time in nearly a decade. Set against a feudal backdrop, the story explores how love tries to break the chains of rigid social tradition. Sajal Aly plays Rabia, the female lead caught between love and societal pressure, opposite Ameer Gilani as Muddasir in his first pairing with Aly, with Ahsan Khan in a grey, intense role and Danyal Zafar as Sar Buland. Produced by Momina Duraid under MD Productions, the serial premiered on HUM TV on 29 April 2026 and airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM PKT.
